• An introduction to the basics of human biochemistry, together with the latest developments in biochemical knowledge and information.
Objectives:
• By the end of the course, the student should be able to:
1. Identify the principles and basics of biochemistry and its relations with the pharmaceutical disciplines.
2. Describe the recent biochemical techniques and their application in understanding the main molecular processes in the human body.
3. Know the biochemical components of the human body and their relations with physiological functions and drug actions.
