- أنشئت جامعة إبن سيناء في العام 2000م بإسم كلية الخرطوم للعلوم الطبية وذلك بموجب القرار رقم (5) بتاريخ 20 مايو 2000م والصادر من إدارة تنظيم مؤسسات التعليم العالي الاهلي والأجنبي بوزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي. وكانت تعرف محلياً باسم "كلية نصر الدين" .
- في العام 2016 تم ترفيع الكلية إلى جامعة ابن سينا بموجب القرار رقم (31) بتاريخ 20 مارس 2016 والصادر من وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي وذلك بعد استيفاء الشروط في جميع النواحي الأكاديمية من البرامج الدراسية والمناهج والهيئة التدريسية والنظم الأكاديمية و ملائمة البنيات التحتية للجامعة. Who we are
Ibnsina University is a private sudanese university established in 1999 as the "Khartoum College of Medical Sciences" and known locally as "Nasr al-Din College" in 2016, the faculty was upgraded to a university under the name of "Ibn Sina University" by a decision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sumaya Abu Kashwa.
